WAUKESHA, Wis. (Dec. 6, 2007) - Artos Engineering Company, a Waukesha-based manufacturer of wire processing equipment, announces the CD-16 Heavy Duty Long Wire Linear Collector. The CD-16 has been engineered to provide tangle free collection of long wires from 250 – 3000mm (10 – 118 inches). It features a design that collects longer wire processed on the Artos CS-327 utilizing synchronized rollers to guide the wire along the collector; eliminating belt noise and maintenance. The CD-16 offers the level of ease and efficiency that provides a true advantage for users.
“As with all of our products, the CD-16 was built with the user in mind,” says John Olsen, Artos Engineering Company president. “By giving customers a collecting device that operates with heavy wires, we’re providing a higher level of operational efficiency.”

A uniquely designed sweeping bar gently and quickly places the wire into the collection trough. The CD-16 is built on rolling casters and can easily be disconnected and rolled out of position when not in use.
