Artos Engineering Company, a Waukesha-based manufacturer of wire processing equipment, introduces the MTX-10HD Large Wire Processor. Designed to process and crimp stranded wire used in automotive battery, welding and other large cable applications up to 50 mm2, the MTX-10HD Large Wire Processor is the newest addition to Artos’ line of MTX Special Applications.
“Due to its sturdy design and use of servo motion controls, the MTX-10HD provides the perfect platform to build upon for a large wire processing system,” says John Olsen II, president of Artos Engineering. “The introduction of the MTX-10HD has allowed Artos to remain focused on our customers by developing applications to meet their needs, filling true market niches with our proven modular technology.”
To offer customers maximum flexibility, Artos offers several optional configurations including one or two crimping stations, heat shrink tube insertion stations as well as stations for long stripping. Additionally, the MTX-10HD offers customers the benefit of sharing common software with Artos’ entire line of servo driven wire processors including the MTX-5, STX-5, CS-326 and CS-327. This eliminates the need for additional training of operators already familiar with the operation of these systems.
